I have posted this phone before and the rolling contract trick, but the price has come down. This is silly money, even if you accept the original RRP was probably too high. It is the phone above the G5S Plus for ~50% of the price once cashback pays out (mine has already tracked) If TCB still pays like it did for me just before Christmas (and CPW are faster paying so it only took ~3wks) you can get this £109.99 after cashback by ordering and cancelling contract straightaway. Also available at £199.99 outright. Even if the cashback doesn't track £159.99 is still very good price for this phone whoch was £349.99 not very long ago.

Rather uniquely, the phone has Alexa integrated which may well suit some people - I'll be interested to see whether I find it worthwhile. Impressively it has IP68 rating but still an SD slot taking up to a 2TB card apparently.

To preempt the inevitable question, CPW phones are unlocked.

Is that the contract on O2

Yes, there may be a Vodafone one too, I haven't looked. EDIT - now looked - isVodafone too, but I'd rather deal with O2 in my experience.

Yes, and that's what it should pay, as it did last time, unless they've closed the loophole. Cashback is never guaranteed but I've not seen anyone report it's not working anymore.
Anyone know what's this like,GPS,camera also foes it have led notifications?
If I order it today, how long should I wait to cancel the contract and will I pay one month for the contract or 2?

Thanks

I did it in December with a Nokia 6 that I posted then, cancelled contract the day it arrived, first month never taken out of my bank and cash back still paid. Can't guarantee that will always happen of course but I'm trying it again! As I say, it's still a stonking price even if it doesn't all pan out

My previous order of the Nokia 6 in December doesn't seem to have been an issue, just got despatch confirmation

Not seen any difference so far on my report. Shouldn't make much difference as very little financial commitment as no long term commitment. I wouldn't do it every month, but here and there should be ok.
Hi , i just did the same with huawei p10 lite two week ago.wont o2 catch me if i do it again lol.?
Shame it's not dual SIM, it has all the other bells and whistles for a phone in its class / price point, dual SIM would have been icing on the cake.
Great deal heat added, I'm always an advocate of these types of deals having done it myself with an huawei p10 lite for £149.99 with the tcb paying out, so essentially for £99.
@jazzuk777 knows his stuff.

On a side note, there have been a couple of people that have ran into problems doing the 12 month contract option, so if you can, stick with the 1 month/30 days deals and you should be OK.

There's a Vodafone contract too at same price. I did them last time and am doing O2 this time. I've had a despatch notification so all looks good

They did for me without any issue at all, I think others have found it harder but don't know why. You have rights under the 14 day statutory cooling off period so shouldn't be an issue.
Thanks. Dod u just called them or sent email and letter too?.
It was easy to cancel with o2 too for me.

Called them, did take a while on hold. You could check for the DD to cancel on your online bank account too to be sure .

Yes definitely do the rolling contracts, very likely affects credit report less too.

Lol no.they are unlocked.
Last time I had a look at doing this I saw that there were 22 month options where the phone was free, through the same link.

What the difference between going for that or a 12 month one. Others than the phone cost?

Cheapest deal with no upfront cost is ~£430 before any cashback, works out a lot more. This is far better.
Anyone found a nice clear case for this phone?

It updates to Oreo
What problems have people had when taking the 12 month sim only option with these and then cancelling?
I bought this not long ago, at the time the lowest up front cost was £149.99 on 12 month SIM only. Now it's £99.99. if tcb pays out, that's £49.99 for this phone!!!

Don't know about problems but you'll probably get a better deal with one month contract then swapping to a decent SIM only deal after, e.g.£5 for 2.25gb/mth

It's a 12 months contract but I've managed to cancel a 12 month contract before:
