A Town Called Eureka: The Complete Collection Seasons 1-5 (Box Set) [DVD] £13.85 including free delivery using code RAK15OFF @ Zoom.co.uk.

All five seasons of the fantasy show set in the quirky town of Eureka. A secret haven for inventors aiming to provide the latest scientific breakthrough, Eureka buzzes with eccentricity and high-tech prototypes. Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson) is the town's odd one out. Rather than an inventor, Carter is a practical man who values simple ideas and straightforward solutions. These prove to be invaluable qualities in the madcap environs of Eureka, where Carter's common sense time and again saves the town (on a few occasions, possibly the world) from self-inflicted disaster.

Great show which went downhill.
I am pleased to say that I met Colin Ferguson

Wonderful show. Had a lot of heart and charm. Been enjoying the daily repeats lately. Gonna hold out for now in the hope that there might be a Blu-Ray set released.

I am sure I have been here before!

A comment from the German edition (50 euros) mentioned above

"Although the packaging is in German, these disks will play in English, and will do English subtitles for the hard of hearing. A quality set!"

Just a note that the xmas specials are a little hidden. Iirc ones on the next disc along you expect, and ones I think under extras/ specials.
One awesome series people

Very enjoyable TV show, was miffed when they canned it

Must admit I agree but then again on the other hand better to quit while they were ahead I suppose unlike some series that they keep going well past their sell by date...admittedly this doesn't annoy me as much as when you get into a new series and it ends on a cliff hanger and is then cancelled...can think of several that this has happened with over the past few years and it drives me insane...well more insane than I already am

Something to keep an eye on for future reference....if you don't mind covers being in French or German you can quite often pick up bargains on Amazon France and Amazon Germany for sets that are either a) not available in the UK or b) are available but a lot more expensive than in the UK (just for example I picked up Justified Series 1-6 DVD Boxset from Amazon France earlier this year for just under £20 delivered when the price in the UK was around £60.)

Mind you just make absolutely sure that English is listed in the Audio on the item description and the subtitles if you need those then all you have to do when you get the DVD/Blu-Ray is set the language in the disc menu to English and away you go

Wonderful. Thank you.

One caveat, there are 2 different blu ray sets for sale. That being said given that the original language is English I'd be amazed if that wasn't an option
