A week's Amazon Prime trial for 99p (invite only)

23
Found 10th Jul
This might just get very cold because someone else has probably posted this and if so just delete this.
I just went to order something from amazon and it gave me the option of 0.99p for a week prime and I didn't have a free month trial and thought I'd save it for prime day on the 16th.
Judt go to order something and do the usual proceed to checkout.

FREE for 30 days

Where? This just brings up the prime day page
Had this before, was by invite after I purchased something. I was looking for another invite but never had one since.

When you go to amazon it has a bit about prime specials starting on the 16th, when you click it you have, or should have the 30 day link.34300609-AOHlA.jpg
Got a different offer for prime tho

i've got kids so even if nothing for myself will end up buying for the kids, bound to be something for most people if the discounts are big on the 16th

Got kids myself too. 3 of them so I might have to consider hopefully something worth it comes in
Does anybody knows if the £10 reward works on the 30 days trial? T&C suggests it works on the monthly plan, I guess will not work with the trial...Hot from me anyway, can't figure out why people vote cold for eBay £1 selling fee by invite only, but hot for Amazon which is the same, by invite...

£10 can get one month worth £7.99 then cancel right after. Still a free month prime plus £2.01 change to spare

Yes, I was considering that and it is still a good deal. However, I do not know if I will purchase anything, depending on the deal. I have 2 accounts, one new, so I can use that for the trial, considering I may not buy anything, this may be better.

It’s not a free month, you’ve paid for it. What if you don’t find anything you want. You’ve lost £7.99 then. The £10 is only to spend on selected prime items and can only be used on prime day. So you may be pushed into buying something you didn’t even want just because you need to use up your £10 voucher that you paid £7.99 for.

Everyone can get free Prime. You get a 30 day trial every time you open a new account. I've just started my 12th trial.

Same address, different email?
Can you no longer pay for a year of Prime in one go? I normally have a little spare cash around Prime day and pay for the whole year instead of keeping a monthly sub I know I won't use most of the time.
I did this, bought the things I needed then cancelled it strait away as I’m terrible at remembering and they gave me 50p refund but could still use it for the week
Are Amazon going to do Prime for a year @ £59 like they did last year?

Sorry for taking so long to get back. Yes, you just need a different email address. Delivery address, payment card etc can all be the same.
If you have Gmail just use the full stop trick.
So instead of johnsmith@gmail.com you use j.ohnsmith@gmail.com the first month, jo.hnsmith@gmail.com the second and so on, moving the full stop every time. Or you can just use johnsmith+1@gmail.com the first month then johnsmith+2@gmail.com the next and so on. Emails will still come through to you as well, as normal. When you set up your trial, go into Prime settings and ask for an alert 3 days before the trial ends and then set up a new account.
I can’t seem to find anything these days on Amazon - was on Prime a few times but nothing much good now. As regards market place find better prices, from usually the same seller on eBay and stuff comes quicker and you have paypal if things go wrong.
