If your looking at this for sentimental value, go ahead. If your looking at this as an investment...stay well clear of the royal mint, prices are over inflated & you wont see a return. A gram of silver is worth around 40p right now, this coin is effectively 582p per gram. Bargain ! (Not)

Though it is a Proof coin not a BU, so there is a premium.
What do the codes do please? Will they work on any other coins?
The price of silver is completely irrelevant. People buy these as a keep sake. Not as an investment. Good deal if you are getting a discount on these coins.
Has anyone actually ever found one of these in circulation?

Shop manager here - Not had a 'W' in circulation, but have had a P or an S or something, one coin, once in the till when cashing up.
Don’t forget TopCashback through Royal Mint

YES! Well not the silver proof one, but the W design - I thought I had diddled and was given an amusement park token as change!
Could have a game of countdown with all the reply comments on here. . What’s the longest word you can get from above letters
This is a good deal if you collect coins the thing to point out is that this is for the 2018 edition .The royal mint then reissued these for 2019 with that date on the coins so might make the 2018 coins rare. I have bought the World Wide Web in the acrylic block for £19.98 delivered was £45.00 so think that is a bargain.
