It will be fine. It probably still has Lenovo warranty. You can also pay for additional warranty with Lenovo.... but as it is a PC then if anything goes wrong it should be easily replaceable.... apart from the graphics card atm!

This will be fine without an ssd
I bought one new when it was on offer 3 weeks ago. Recently thr graphics card died, and I will be returning it for repairs through Lenovo, as Laptops Direct will not reimburse you for shipping.
Wonder if the GPU was used for mining, as Lenovo said the PC was "bought" on 24th of Feb 2017.

Wow - what nonsense ...
so why did I have to wait every time for my gtx1070 pc with hdd and windows 10 to settle down before I used it otherwise edge would crash
I bought one of these new from a few weeks ago when it was listed and im impressed with it has played all the games ive thrown at it and even works fine with my oculus rift.

Im a bit concerned about what archarius says about though as when i checked the warranty status it told me it had expired. It was sold as new and when opened it looked untouched.

It's true, you don't get the modern PC experience without an SSD; waiting for programs to load off a garbage 5,400rpm disk, isn't something I'd accept in 2018.

I work for a reseller, the computers ship out to distributors, and the clock starts ticking once the ink has dried on the contract. If you call up for support, they'll reset the clock, providing you have the invoice.

I have SSD, WD Black and a WD Green ... SSD for Windows boot, Black for Games, and Green for backup, ancillary apps and no issues at all. However, I had WD Black as my main drive for a few years, and I'm hard pushed to tell the difference.

Also, if you do a lot of writing to the drive then an SSD isn't a great choice.

SSD is definitely faster as a boot drive, but to say it will be 'slow and glitchy as hell' without an SSD is just not true ...

Okay you're right, it's hard to tell the difference, HDDs seem as perfromant as SSDs, you win.

Sorry for speaking

Yeah cos having a hard disk drive instead of a solid state drive definitely makes your computer glitchy as hell...

Please don't ever comment again.
Voted hot by the way.

Do you work for Currys by any chance? Sounds like the nonsense some of the sales guys spout.
Are we now pretending that pc with a SSD is generally the same speed as the same PC with a HDD?

Just let them be mad, probably just chewing time, as they wait for their PUBG textures to load from their raggedy 80GB IDE drive
