yes i know its 99p instore i just put £1 in the title to make things simple

oh yeah, forgot to say dont forget to get your rechargeable batteries from 99p stores or poundland. they are only 800mAh, still very good value!

not bad, voted hot

Good price for a charger but don't waste your money on the Poundland rechargeable batteries. Those are overpriced and way underpowered.

i only need a couple o chargers to charger batts for goin away with thats all mate i got the batts jus need the chargers
cheers for the thought tho mate

I cant believe they can make something like this in china, ship it over here and sell at a profit for £1......

I still think the recent uniross fast charger deal with smart charge and 4 decent 2500 batteries for £5 delivered is a much better deal than this. You just end up leaving the charger switched on all the time or longer than neccessary otherwise and that defeats the purpose of recharagables....

Still they also do 3 packs of 800 batteries at the pound shop I seem to remember, absolutely fine for tv remotes, game controllers. So you can get 9 recharhable batterries and a charger for £3 got to be a good deal...

with postage costs it would be cheaper to buy a different brand online

Yeah postage alone for 2 of these would probably be over £4.

I just think its really cheeky to ask to be honest

Was wondering about this too.
Is this the one which has the insides like the Sony one ?
I'm sure there was a post about it a while back.

A family member of mine has the Lidl charger and it's not very good. It's fully automatic so assesses the condition of your batteries and charges appropriately. Problem is it stops charging far too early and you're batteries never get fully charged. It only charges my AAA's (also bought from Lidl) for 10min!, so a bit useless really. I stick to using one of the £5 overnight chargers I got off Play.com a while back.

Oh yeah, forgot to add, the first one we got went faulty after just a few days and had to be returned for a replacement.
