Spotted this at my local store in Swindon but I’m told this price is across all the stores

I use the AA tablets. Just fill up the tank with water and pop one in to dissolve. Works really well and cuts down on plastic.

They're good but no good in winter and will freeze and can cause the washer tank to split, so the £400 to fix wasn't a great saving for me.

Learned something this week. My wifes car windshield washers reduced to a dribble last week. After a bit of internet searching it seems that cheap wiper fluid encourages a build up of algae in the washer bottle, electric motor and filter. After disassembly (£150 dealer job if I couldn't do it myself) the filter was indeed blocked with slimey gunk. Lesson learned, stick to the Prestone or similar.

Hi does it matter if you use any colour/brand screen wash for a given car?

No it doesn’t. As long as you use the corrrect weather recommended it should be fine
