Sigh...

It’s a generic kit, that contains a selection of different bulbs to ensure it covers the requirements of MOST cars, that take one or more of the three types of bulbs included.

if you want to only buy a specific bulb, for a specific car... here’s an outrageous suggestion. GO AND BUY THE SPECIFIC BULB YOU WANT?

Thanks. If you are prime member there is no need for £20 spend.
Worth checking how easy it is to change a bulb on your car before buying. It can be very difficult on some modern vehicles. I remember changing a Renault Megan bulb a few years ago and I had to remove the front wheel and remove an access panel. Then lying on my back spent 20 mins to finally release the bulb, having cut my hand to bits in the process. Absolutely crazy. Took it to Halfords the next time who promptly declined the job!!

Similar bulb collection pack in home bargains too at £2.89 if not fancy this as an add on item.

I actually didn't know that (although thinking about it, it makes sense).
Just ordered I can confirm no minimum spend with prime.
Thanks bought
Bought similar in the past great value for money but always left with the H4 and H1 Bulbs unused. Now just buy H7 and replaces in box.
Too cheap to ignore, a £2.50 offering to the bulb and fuse Gods is always a good thing!

That’s your reasoning behind why you’re talking utter nonsense?

Sure.

Brought a model specific version for a similar price previously, I thought the same especially as month later one of my main light bulbs went, the replacement only lasted a month, ended up just buying the bulb for £1.4X. OVerall was not worth buying the kit
As you would expect the bulbs don’t last, but good value for a temp replacement if easy to change. Fuses are fine. I have about 4 sets in the garage, decided to buy the bulbs that I needed from Halfords which was much less hassle in the end as they are still going strong! Buy cheap...

They're good to throw to the glove box in case someone doesn't already have a spare and want to have some token item. Indicator and stop bulbs are good ones, tho... but the rest? The pack contains three bulbs whose quality models cost between 5-20 a piece...
...personally considering the time it takes to replace the bulb in the average modern car or bike I wouldn't bother with ultra low quality spare.
Life's too short to change a headlamp bulb get halfords to do it plus they will get correct bulb , I spent 2 hours on vw polo once , nightmare
Hot deal one of these bulbs costs £5 in halfords alone lol
Thx
this was priced at £999.99 in 2012, what were Amazon thinking? Were they made out of Diamond? lol

3rd Party Used £999.99 Nov 07, 2012

Heat added and bought one anyway!

Agreed - keep as a temporary/emergency bulb but never use them as long-term bulbs. A few months ago I used one from a kit while I was waiting for some Bosch bulbs from ECP to arrived and it lasted literally two journeys (and I cleaned it with isopropyl alcohol and handled it perfectly). Thankfully the Honda Civic is an absolute dream to replace bulbs on!
I don't get it. How is this a hot deal, when this is the standard price for this deal on Amazon?

@Bergeon completely agree. I've had a Megane for about 7 years now. Everytime a bulb goes at the front of the car I know I've just earned myself an hour job and a mangled hand. Getting quite good at it now though. Last time managed to do it without removing the wheel and feeling around blindly in the tiny hole. Still took a while though and would love to know if any of the main garages actually agree to fitting these without bumping up the price.

Halfords do change them now.
I've had a Megane mk2 for 10 years and used to do it myself but it took hrs.
Both headlamps went at the same time the other week so i took it to Halfords and they replaced both in less than 10 minutes, cost was about £30 quid to get both replaced.

Also a nightmare on my Clio - bumper off job.

Tbf, mine's great round the corners and a great gearbox but not great as a home mechanic!
