Anyway.. think of the bloody environment... these things won't last long... i mean duracell long :P

Just beware if these are zinc chloride. If left in toys, etc to run flat they will leak.

Zink batteries are a nuisance and not suitable for items that need a lot of power quickly.

While they will work well for TV remote controls, they are not good for things like remote controlled cars, flash lights etc, that have a high power drain.

Rubbish batteries hence rubbish price. Sainsbury's have/had Sony alkalines 8 for 99p, a much better deal.

these are there because 2 duracell or energiser batteries lastr longer than the whole pack

Wouldn't power an LED.
