Much better than the stickers as you can pull it on and off at leisure.

...For European driving, and although I did not need it for my recent drive to Paris as I didn't get stopped by the police, it's nice to know that it's cheaper than an on the spot fine!

they sell these for about £5.- at the ferry - grab 'm if you need them!

We didnt use one last time we drove across Europe. Nobody stopped us.

great, thanks, just ordered 2.

Look further down the page, and the same company is selling these for 5p less.

I'm sure they'll chase you back to the UK for that fine.

Those magnetic things have a habit of flying off by the way..

Most are on the spot fines and as the flying off part break out the tape then you be hard pressed to find even basic ones for less then 75p online.

I've never put a GB plate/sticker on my car.

Never been stopped.

That's like saying I speed, and have not been caught, the fact is it is law to have one, or display a "europlate" just because you have got away with it so far, does not make it right.

Also great for covering any small dents/scratches in your boot/tailgate!

Where will you stick a magnetic plate on a bike?

I drove 3500 miles across France and Spain last Summer with one of these on the car - no problems at all.

An advantage of this type is that you can easily take it off the car when parked in a public space, just in case there are any 'souvenir hunters' around.

Thanks. On order. Isn't it frustrating when you see reckless individuals in cars doing a ton on a dual carriageway and not a copper in sight? Don't they understand the law on vehicle speeds? Getting away with it is not the point or an answer,

Bought one - thanks for sharing. Heat and rep added.

if your car has the euro plates, which alot do, then you dont need this.

How many foreign cars on our roads display a sticker designating where they are from ??

Typical of us british wanting to conform to rules that nobody else in europe gives a stuff about

In Poundland you can get a pack that includes one of these plus those headlamp adjusters - bargain (on the ferry all together cost over a tenner!)
