When you add just a single person (passenger or driver)the prise is £69.
You can’t proceed @ £39.
Price is misleading or leading no where .Cold as cucumber.

I dont think this is true, if you cover just the vehicle and not an individual its £39 and clearly states the £20 gift card is included. Heat from me
AA website says £45 for a basic service. I signed up to Eversure breakdown service - eversure.com/ - last year for £38.74 for a FULL comprehensive service including at home and currently there is up to £10 Top Cashback available. I called them out at home recently and they arrived in about 15 minutes. Its website says from £25.71 but that might not be for the full service - possibly a basic service for that price. Worth checking it out and they cover cars up to 20 years old, if you like older cars like me. Other service providers have lower age thresholds. Fact is, the AA and RAC charge over £100 for the full service.
It says £45 on the mobile site. Can't see anywhere to input the code.

Paid £28 for Smart Resuce inc roadside and at home and free legal cover
At least with the AA and RAC there is a chance they will actually fix your car. You have to be wary of sone of the cheaper companies as all they send is a recovery truck to tow you to a garage.

FYI.. The free legal cover only covers non-fault accidents, taking out paid legal cover helps in non & fault accidents

This is spot on.
I'm with the AA, the cost is not cheap at all but you know what, you get the app, you can track the guy coming to tow you away, it's really top class. When you need it, it's there and that peace of mind is actually very reassuring. And I'm the tightest penny pinching git you'll ever find.

How about autoaid. Lots of good reviews here and is cheaper than either of the big 2. I am with them and fortunately have not needed to call them out so cannot comment on service bought on basis of reviews.

I have this and go the £20 vouchers.
I had autoaid and had to call them out. They just sent a recovery truck. The driver said they never try to fix it as there is no money in it, just load the car onto the recovery truck and they are quids in. They use independent garages around here and they dont have the manpaower to fix the cars at the road. They also told me thta with the new motorways that are "smart" ie no hard shoulder, they would never stop to fix, they would just load up as quick as possible as it is not safe to hang around.

Think I’ll try this- its a good level of service but if I haven’t used it I’d expect price to stay same- thank you(y)
I was with the AA for 6 or 7 years, every time the renewal came in I got a higher quote than what I paid the year before and I had to ring in to get it at the same price as previous years. Until 3 years ago when the quote was a little more than double the previous years figure. I rang up and said that the price was mad, no way was I paying that much, and the rather rude agent basically said its that price or not renew, so I told him to cancel and went with the RAC. I have had letters from the AA asking me to come back, offering prices ~20% of what they were demanding before (a little less than the RAC). No chance AA, you blew it.
