I get the Angus salt and pepper specially selected quarter pounders from …I get the Angus salt and pepper specially selected quarter pounders from Aldi £1.99 for 4 ?

Try these - more expensive yes but trust me when I say these are far better quality burgers then anywhere else.

Those that have tried them will know the difference.

Had these a while back and must admit they are fab and well worth the money looking like I'm going to Costco this week yum. Heat added 🔥 thanks OP
Looks like it is time to spark up the Barbeque, even if we'll still be eating indoors! These are a step above any supermarket burger I've ever had.
Brought these today in brum. It was like everyone was preparing for the apocalypse, things were getting cleared out . Must admit these burgers are great.

I never understand why Aberdeen Angus burgers from one place different to the same thing in another store? If the same animal breed and the same ingredients, how can these differ?!!
Are these fresh or frozen?
fresh

I'm no expert, but I'd guess at several factors - quality of cut of meat, age, fat ratio, coarseness of grind, presence or not of rusk. Etc!

Burgers are a great exemplar of the phrase "one man's meat is another man's gristle"! 😁

Same breed but I'm guessing different cuts of beef or beef grades and some cheaper ones might use a bit of filler in the patties or different seasoning. Also possible the age of beef is different.

I suppose it's the same as when you buy a terrible steak from one store but, then you get a good one from a different store. Age of the meat usually a big factor.
Yes they are more expensive than your average burger. But they do have an excellent taste and texture.
I personally found them a little too big. They are more like 6oz each (+50% bigger than a 1/4 pounder)
This ended already?
