The Range
Our single malts are made from expertly crafted new spirit, usually double cask matured for at least 12 years in the finest hand-picked Oloroso Sherry butts and first fill Bourbon casks. When judged ready for bottling, the subtly different flavours of the whisky from each type of cask are orchestrated into a distinguished range of rich, rewardingly complex single malts.

For people who know whisky, the result is an unusually engrossing, many-layered experience.

Taste Tasting Notes:

Nose: The quality of the sherry butts used is as good as you’ll find today with their clean, almost inspirational gently spiced clarity offering sufficient permeability to allow both barley and oak to breat and prosper.

Palate: Mouth-cleansing delivery with the clean sauternes-esque grape polishing every tastebud; the decent weight is just about perfect for its style; again the spices are no more than a distant rumble and the barley breaks out for the relaxed stroll.

Finish: Remains delicate for all the weight; the mild treacle and waxed honey finale satisfies.

I was into it to buy it in the morning, be aware that the 40% alcohol is weaker than 43% in overall taste, also, search the 34 quid one as is the one worth buying it.
Instead go for Lagavulin which have an awesome prime price or, in this gamma, go for Aberlour Casgannamh.
The 12 is a regular favourite of mine. A'bunadh is a special treat. This is bound to be ace.
Amazon pantry have this for £34.61 and it is advertised as 43 ABV version.

Treat yourself to both!
I just went mad and loaded up with 4 bottles of Malt, already saving £50 on RRP and signed up for the Amazon Credit card which gave me another £30 in vouchers. 4 bottles of Malt for just over £50. and they turn up tomorrow \o/
