A cracking 16 year old Highland single malt from Aberlour. Cheapest price I've seen it on Amazon apart from the occasional Lightning Deal around Father's Day or Xmas!

Temporarily out of stock, but Amazon get restocks pretty quickly.

Tasting notes:-

Creamy with sweet raisin aromas and a spicy nuttiness

Smooth, full, sweet floral and spicy flavours with a soft plum fruitiness and gentle oakiness

Long, warm, spicy fruitiness

A warm and golden amber colour

Expression's warm fruity notes are enriched by an engagingly spicy sweetness

2015 Silver Outstanding Medal Winner - International Wine & Spirits Competition

IWSC Awards Tasting Note: Nose has a delightful butterscotch beginning before rich malt come into play. Followed by ripe pear, apple and orange. Some honey and sherry come to the fore. Dignified entry into the mouth with fine texture and good balance. Butterscotch comes back into focus while some fine oak shows itself. Well fruited and spiced finish.

PLEASE NOTE: DO NOT MIX WITH ANYTHING OTHER THAN WATER OR SOME ICE!

Still in stock in Amazon Pantry (9 left) - worth checking if anyone has any free credit left over from Prime Day, add 4 bottles of Volvic strawberry water to get the free delivery too and maximise your savings...unfortunately I spent my credit yesterday

not in stock! ;(?

It's back up to £45 but there is a second one in stock at your price on there

Because Amazon are out of stock they're showing a third party seller at £45, but it's still in stock from Amazon Pantry at £36 (plus £2.99 shipping that you can get around by buying four items in their "buy 4 get free delivery" promo - as far as I can tell you still end up paying the £2.99, but get £2.99 off those items).

Yes. The Amazon price is on the right of the product page at £36, but is temporarily out of stock - as I mentioned in my OP. Amazon get restocks all the time, so I would expect this to take no more than a couple of extra days at most.

Lovely drop, this! Heat Thanks OP

Out of stock - on the few occasions I've ordered OOS whisky from Amazon it's taken 4 and 7 weeks to arrive. Good price though.

Not in my experience. My Laphroaig was left outside for a week as I was on holiday - 7 weeks after I ordered it. I don't order anything thats OOS from Amazon anymore. They quite often put whisky on offer when they have limited stock which is fairly pointless.

I picked up a bottle of this (yes, the 16yo) from Waitrose a fee days ago knocked down to this price, maybe worth trying local branch.
