It looks like it's meant to be £20 but showing up as £15. Haven't seen a 1l bottle of Absolut this cheap before.

Ends 4th October according to site.

p.s. If you're a Smirnoff fanboy/girl and have never tried it before, it has my seal of approval.

Update: Price has gone back up to £20 now. Scanning at £20 instore also, therefore expired.

Absolut is one of the worst vodkas in the world. Unfortunately for you brits, the world sends most of its **** to these isles, so I don't blame you if you don't know the difference. By all means, continue to enjoy the aircraft windshield deicer that is 'vladivar', 'finlandia', 'absolut', 'russian standard', 'zubrowska', 'stoli', 'tesco value vodka' (they're all about the same after all) and so forth that the vodka drinking world regards as the chocolate eating world regards cadbury's - that is - more akin go what normally comes out of the body than that which should go into it.

a clue: get yourself a body of hortitsya, nermiroff, or even grey goose. you know - buy vodka from companies that aren't 99% marketing / 1% product.

LOL Grey Goose, the company that pays rappers to say it's name? No marketing there then

I can confirm I purchased this instore last night! Amazing price for 1litre of Absolut!

i think russian standard is one of the best vodkas. even the native people in russia and surrounding countries prefer it according to the reviews.

I **** love Cadburys chocolate... and for that reason i'm in.

Grey Goose is indeed amazing stuff but at £30 a bottle, it's something I just can't afford every day.

lol complaining supermarket vodkas aren't as good as premium vodkas; go figure.

That's a great price, that's actually cheaper than wholesale prices from the biggest firms

No wonder - 'zubrowska' must be some fake, cause Zubrowka is rather nice vodka enjoyed around the world.
And then again it's Nemiroff not nermiroff. But hey, you know better.

short lived, by the time i had got it in my basket it was back to £20

The goose gets you loose!!!

Very nice price. I have a £4 off £30 voucher so may invest in 2.

price now £20? They prob realised it was a pricing error

http://drinkology.de/webshop-english/vodka/nemiroff-vodka-honey-pepper.html

there you go lads, a better vodka at a chaper price. was the first result for 'nemiroff' and was good enough.. im sure it's cheaper still otherwise. why would you bother with this absolut swill?

Price now £20

So is this actually marked as £15 instore or just scans at this price?
Edited by: "Sparkster" 7th Sep 2011

Last night I bought one and the price was unmarked on the shelf, but scanned at £15.
Went back this morning and the price was marked as £20 and also scanned at £20

Portmanteau: I thought that the point of hot uk deals was to show the best price for something. £15 for a litre of Absolut is/was the best price seen. Unless you can find Grey Goose (which is nowhere near as good as it's price would imply) or one of your other premium brands for £15 somewhere that doen't need posting from Germany or wherever your post is pretty redundant. it's like someone posting that you can buy a brand new Renault Clio 1.2 for £5k from £8k and someone else piping up "yes, but a Porsche Cayman is better".

If it's at a good price for what it is then it's a hot deal. I don't like chicken burgers but if KFC were selling one for 50p I could hardly deny it was a hot deal.

Edited by: "monkeyhanger75" 7th Sep 2011

Why are people still voting this hot?

I would have voted hot for £15

Yeah but it's got honey and pepper in it.

Why not post a can of coke, and say 'look there. This is cheaper'.

You might just be being a bit of a snob about this to be honest.

Could you really tell in a blind taste test?

Reminds me of so much bottled water and wine rubbish too.

Indeed Zubrowka is amazing stuff. Vodka that can be drunk straight and enjoyed for £20 a bottle? yes please. Went to Poland and everyone was drinking it there.

oh this is a good deal i buy vodka to make my herbal tinctures, not too bothered about taste as long as the alcohol content is as high as possible.....thanks!

Just checked online and its listed as £20

one does not simply buy this elusive vodka

russian standard or this?

Bought 2 instore last night was marked at £15 with no discount and scanned at £15. Had considered buying this for the bottle previously when it was £25 so knew it was a mistake. Grabbed 2 for £30. Checked online last night when we got in and it was also marked £15 but had a £5 discount. So incorrectly priced with the £10 discount.

Note these bottles are limited edition and are pretty nice if you like bottles for candles etc...

portmanteau - That's all well and good, but shipping off that site is €20, which is a shame because the Honey/Pepper one looks rather nice.

I'm starting to become a bit of a vodka snob and agree that Smirnoff/Absolout etc are revolting to drink straight. But when mixing, who cares, cheap and cheerful all the way!

If you are looking to drink it neat, try and get a bottle of Chase vodka, hands down the best vodka I have ever tasted from a rapidly expanding list

Wowsa Chase vodka aint cheap. Mind you I have Johnnie Walker blue at home so I cant talk.

Will invest in a bottle one day

I ordered 4 yesterday with the £10 off code.

When I noticed that it had been expired & price increased I called them yesterday evening expecting to have to cancel the order.

They didnt appear to know why it was "on offer" @ £15 for only a few hours - girl I spoke to checked with someone else who authorised for me to get a refund of the 4 x £5 extra I had been charged - this was noted on my account & I was advised to call back as soon as the delivery had been made. Today I called them back & got £20 refunded without any problems.

Worth a try.
