Stoneybridge!

Remember a bunch of us used to get told off at school a few times for shouting out that as an answer to questions.

So childish, but made us giggle.....

Can't wait to see Callum Gilhooley again - especially now I no longer work with a guy who was exactly like him.

Shadwell was funny

Ah it would be nice to visit Clwb Sboncyn for "a nice pint of cheese water".

Hmm didn't know this but you can watch it all online for free at 4OD's portal on youtube >

Lol you can tell its old, the 1st scene on ep 1 has some people with torches and you can see the torches leave a lag trail behind because of the 80's video camera technology at the time.

Lastly I found this for fans of Morwenna Banks >

Denzil, I are in the hooooooooooover!

McGlashan , " You , English.......OUT !!!"

Class!

The sketch that had me and my mate in stitches was Frank Hovis singing Ken Dodd's 'Tears' at the Stoney Bridge fete. We still cry with laughter every time we watch it. Comic genius.

+1

If you can put up with the 3 short ads it's here at around 11:40mins in - youtube.com/wat…0ow

One of my all-time favs.

Absolutely and John Sparkes were so good.

Frank Hovis informing us about his sprained ***** and the inadvisability of running for a bus whilst masturbating was also one that stuck with me forever. For some reason.

Denzil and Gwinneth were must sees too along with John Sparkes' old man sketches.

Where is he now?

My 'Ultimate' was Frank Hovis on the Lavatory...the one where he didn't say a word.

Frank Hovis getting caught short in the back of a taxi

"TAXI!! take me too................the lavatory!!!"

I had this a while back but like most things the memories are much better than the actual programme. lots of funny stuff, hidden amongst some really unfunny sketches...still for a tenner you cant go wrong i suppose, traded mine in at CEX for 11 quid so you can watch then get your money back.

I used to love this, I always remember the bald guy playing the keyboard.

They done Chelmsford 123 after this which is also brilliant.
