Super deal - thanks OP. Voted hot.

Have some heat - Who is going to replace them? I have already booked tickets to their last tour....

Got mine, Cheers!

One of my all time favourite albums from one of the greatest bands of all time.

Have you old foggies heard of these shiny new things called CDs? X)

Yes, we know what CDs are but there are somethings that are emotionally raw, more tactile & traditionally sentimental to handling a vinyl. Don't forget that massive cover artwork sleeve that your collecting. Try holding the same identical CD/vinyl side by side then tell us which would you prefer. No difference to having classic/modern cars, yet folks are happy to buy classic cars & spend money maintaining them.

All I can say is that vinyl will outlive CDs as far as I'm concern since vinyl has outlived every other physical music medium there is, CDs will soon be abandoned due to digital downloads, digital downloads are being packaged with purchases of vinyl, album collectors tend to prefer vinyl over every other physical format & usually consumers view music as something they access, not own.

Everyone will agree to disagree with the sentiment of vinyl but each to their own.

And before anyone pre-judges me, I don't even have a single vinyl in my music collection but if I could exchange them, I would.

The Live At River Plate triple vinyl at £11.70 is better

boring

heat added. War Machine is such a great track!

Too many hipsters on this thread I forgot vinyl was so cool.

EXPIRED!

Many fond memories of when I was a teenager back in the 80's, trawling through Snoopy's second hand music store in Boscombe for a different record to play on my turntable whilst reading the sleeve notes.

****, OOS. But thanks - must remember to check deals more often.

Unfortunately not, even the most battered old copies of Back in Black are getting stickered up at a tenner in the second hand stores these days. Even the charity shops are starting to put 'our price £..., ebay price £...'
Hopefully next year prices will get more realistic again.

In other hard rockin' vinyl deals, Amazon have last years pretty damn good Aftershock by Motorhead up for £8.99 at the moment.

That's a shame, I used to buy a lot of vinyl in the 90s and early 00s, but the house/techno vinyl had its day by the 2002/2003 , still got 12k 12"s looking back I wish I.d sold them at the height of the market, although the stuff I did sell back then would have contributed massively to the collection,

Vinyl will never die a story today :-

One of the fastest growing segments of the music business is also one of its oldest products.

Sales of vinyl records are booming. In the first six months of the year they were up 40.4%, only slightly behind growth in on-demand streaming, which grew by 42%.

And it continues. Last week (Black Friday) was the second biggest sales week for vinyl albums since Nielsen started tracking them in 1991, with 259,000 albums sold, up 19% compared to the same week last year, according to data obtained by Quartz. The biggest week on record (pun intended!) was in April, when 369,00 albums were sold as part of a major sales promotion in independent record stores.

A similar promotion was underway for Black Friday this year, with a number of exclusive vinyl releases from the likes of The Beatles, the Grateful Dead, Chvrches, and New Order available in participating record stores. Which serves to reinforce the perception that it’s indie rock enthusiasts and nostalgists driving the trend.

The vinyl renaissance has actually been going on for quite a few years now.
