Obviously not to play the latest Doom etc but for browsing word processing etc nice little machine slightly bigger screen for those of you with "older eyes" some comments in reviews how it might need a SD card fitted to do update from win8 to win10 but TBH i prefer win8 on a touchscreen
This was £50 cheaper than amazon had it, what a surprise eh!

i am starting to stop reading reviews on tech products, you always get comments from people who should never be let near the internet or technology, myself i took the chance and bought one as my poor eyes were getting very annoyed with my previous 8" tablet.

I have this and unfortunately I have to concur it's not great - I bought it for £99.99 - at that price it's just about worth it

It was from the same place but a good few months ago now. It relied on quidco (which was a farce - some of us were lucky in that Quidco paid out themselves - MS declined). The deal link is here for reference.

I wouldn't stick with Windows 8 - Windows 10 has a tablet mode which makes it pretty much W8, but with extended support. Windows 8 is likely to go the way of Windows ME and Vista I think,

umm 8 months ago and a bit of a gamble there, don't suppose you wanna sell me yours cheap

Yeah £150 is a bit much, we paid £99 on the last deal as well and its just about worth it, we mainly use it in the car for our daughter as it does get incredibly slow using word on it, if you type fast you are quite ahead of the words appearing on screen. Takes a long time to charge as well.
Ye I have this and it suits me for just browsing and stuff.
I paid £99 in the last deal on this.
In defence of this laptop, it has a better than usual Z3745 processor...and a very bright/clear screen.

I never used mine though (aside from upgrading to W10). So it still remains in its box, in a corner.

nah last lappy i bought from amazon warehouse was not great, combined with lower spec for £50 not worth the gamble
2.54mm thick? I doubt that is accurate. 1.5kg seems extremely heavy for such a small device. Slow CPU, no full HD, where is the deal?

my you sound like an expert on these things,
why no link to a better alternative that is actually not a washing machine?
