This is the very reason this website annoys me.

It’s like having to start a thread on a Dacia Duster lease with “not an F1 car” all due to the idiots on this site!

It’s a good spec for the price for what it is and for what it’s intended.

There's some in Lancashire
This looks like a good price for a decent laptop. the only thing holding me back is the warranty. My last Asus stopped working 14 months after the purchase - just outside the warranty period of 12 months. Any option I can extend the warranty to 24 months without paying too much?

I am looking at buying a laptop for about £500, using it just for internet & general tasks...don't play games. I will be honest and have no idea and keep looking on here for one, I have gathered I need SSD and HD! Would this be a good one to go for or anyone have any better options?! Thanks and apologies for such a general post but this place seems to have a lot of people with knowledge.

I'd go for this instead £399. uk-store.acer.com/asp…ack
Worth paying an extra £80 for the 8GB RAM upgrade and a better Full-HD IPS display which gives good viewing angles, good colour reproductions and solid blacks, plus 2 year warranty.
Option 2 amazon.co.uk/Ace…+15
This new chromebook with Google playstore app support.
All Aluminium casing has Full-HD IPS touchscreen, backlit keyboard, all day battery life, runs silent and cool no fans. No need to have Windows updating all the time.
