Good price

Just what I need. My 20" Dell monitor keeps switching itself off whenever it wants.

Good price, but note no DVI digital input, for those who are fussy about these things.

1600x900 .... spend a bit more (£10 at the most) for a better resolution

Take the HD wording out of the title. This is just a standard TFT monitor. So poor.

there are many types of HD, nowhere mentioned Full HD on this post

On the amazon site it mentions is HDCP compatiable but not mention of DVI
That cant be right. Correct me if I am wrong

according to acer both the X203W and X203H have DVI, amazon seem to have details for both models the 203H has better contrast but slightly lower resolution (and is also 16:9 as opposed to 16:10 on the W)

This is exactly the same price (using FREEDELIVERY code) but has … This is exactly the same price (using FREEDELIVERY code) but has 1680x1050 resolution and a DVI connection. Not a bad deal at all, but I think the Philips is a better one. I can personally vouch for it being a very good monitor.

The Acer is 10,000:1 Contrast Ratio - the Philips is 800:1 Contrast Ratio. Anyone doing anything more than typing is going to need more than 800:1, I've found the limitations of a 3000:1, it's the minimum I'd want.
