Looks good with a 75Hz refresh rate / Free Sync and an adjustable stand. It's an IPS model at 2560 x 1440. It is VESA compatible as well, which is always good to have as an option. Usually the questions regarding speakers comes up and yep, it has speakers too.

Very good price for those with AMD cards. Nvidia really do need to drop the amount they charge for G-Sync even if it is superior.
No 4k

And variable refresh rate range

Amazing makes it far superior
Don't think I'd want 4k anyway tbh. I don't video or photo edit and my gpu wouldn't play the games I play at 4k at any decent rate. The main reason not to buy is poor scaling in Windows tho tbh. Massive pain in the butt.

Don't feed the troll
Not a bad price.

I managed to get an MG279Q last year around this time for £303 sealed when Amazon had their 20% warehouse deals offer, so if this doesn't interest you keep an eye out for that (although it might be a bit of a wait now! :P)
where are the 5K 27" DP 1.4 monitors for 2x retina?

Absolutely. That's the issue with 4K on a relatively small screen.
1440p @ 27" sitting 2ft away is fine without any scaling. Many would argue it's the perfect balance even beating out 4K in terms of user experience.
