I'm not surprised PC monitor gamers have to play with their nose pressed against the screen. Do youself a favour get a big 4k TV and play properly (if the wife or mum will let you)

Great monitor paid a grand for it this time last year

Excellent deal wish it was this price 6 months ago when I paid for the dell ultra wide for just under 700

nice using mine right now, paid a bit more than that also.

Have the Asus equivalent, worth the investment. Thought I would be pining after a 2160p 144hz oled version by now, being well over a year later, but nothing like it seems to have developed

Curved screens make my eyes go funny.

I have been looking one of these for months but wanted to wait until it was sub £800, and of course didn't I give up and go and buy an Aoc 32 inch curved 144hz yesterday! Did get it for £400 mind you so it's still a good bit cheaper. It might have to go back to Amazon and be replaced with this though!

As monitors get wider humans will be forced to evolve.

Love 21:9 ratio You can see so much more in games, truly amazing and game changer. I bought freesync version for 550 and using it with GTX 1080ti with v sync on, constantly getting 60fps on 60hz mode still looks smooth as fcuk I can overclock mine to 80hz but found it hard to keep 80fps on new titles ..

Bought another 2 for my set up my benefits and dla and child benefit came in

wondering whether to wait for the x35 or Asus 35in coming in q1 2018 or get this now. Surely this will drop in value once those come out?

I was thinking the same but who knows when they are coming they where suppose to be this year as for the price i have a funny feeling that these are gonna stay the same and they will charge £1300 odd for the new ones

I bit the bullet on this after picking up a Prime day warehouse deal for the bargain price of £635. I had hoped to hold out for when the X35 comes out but at that price it was hard to pass up. Either way, it's a great monitor if you can justify the price and have the cash to spare. That being said, I am not sure I would part with 800 quid now when the new 200Hz 35 inch screens are just around the corner (X35 being one of them).

I'm running mine on a GTX1080 and I generally get around 60-100fps in PUBG with settings wacked up and the 21:9 aspect certainly gives you a bit of an advantage spotting people that would not be visible on a 16:9 screen.

One thing to note is there is backlight bleed in a couple of areas, only really visible when the screen is black. That doesn't bother me personally as it isn't noticeable when the screen is showing something and is a common downside to IPS panels.

4790K (@ 4.5GHZ) so a little old now but still does me just fine. :-)

Bought mine for £675 from eBay last year. Amazing monitor. Need to upgrade my i5 3570K soon.

you reckon this is better to use, I play a variety of games but also do a lot of design work on photoshop, looked around and there's not many g sync monitors around that offer the best of both worlds?
