Seems like alot of spec for the price!

I personally prefer chromebooks for cheap browsing machines but for a Windows 10 i3 with 8GB RAM brand new you can't go wrong imo!

Specs:
i3-6006U dual core 2Ghz
8GB RAM
1TB HDD
14'' 1366x768
Wifi and Bluetooth 4.1
2xUSB 3.0 for faster data speeds
HDMI and VGA
SD card slot
720p webcam
Up to 8 hour battery life (Li-Ion)
Windows 10

Comes with a 1 year warranty and 20 quid off MS office when you buy it

Also comes in 3 colours, gold, purple or silver!

Cracker for 320 imo, usually at this price all you'll get is a Celeron/low i3 and 4GB RAM so...

Hmm, this or HP with 256GB SSD for £360?

PS. the cold voters are for the non-FHD screen
PS2. IMHO a cheap HP is better quality than a cheap Acer; others views may vary.

Go to your local PCW/Currys and have a play. The quality of screens and keyboards vary enormously and some is just down to personal opinion; e.g. I thought that the keyboards on the Lenovo 510s were worse than on the 510 but my OH thought the opposite!

Find me an i3 with 8GB RAM and a FHD screen for under 400 and the world will bite your hand off

People (not you) just don't understand specs, honestly, this for 320 is a real deal

there are already a couple of deals floating about like that - 4gb i think tbh but thats ok and upgradable

think the deals alright though with a 14inch screen the lower res is more forgivable and specs are solid for basic use

Not necessarily, but it's well know that the same screen is fitted to a variety of machines and there seems to be a particularly nasty screen of this resolution going round with low contrast. Low viewing angle. But it is surprising what a difference this makes. Besides movies in HD, you just can't fit so much on the screen.
Like HD ready tvs, why do manufacturers still do it?

Because at less than 40 inch the non-AV snobs don't care? I think that HD ready is fine. Yes full hd, backlit keyboards, etc. are nice, but on budget machines they are rare for a reason. Give me HD ready plus decent CPU & ram over FHD & a processor less powerful than one likely to be found in a high end calculator in a few years.

IMO, it's consumer ignorance. This machine ticks all the other obvious boxes, but not this one, sometimes they don't even mention it. Caveat Emptor (^ ^)
