good find op, heat added
Looks good with the Office 365 bundled !!

This might be a better value "filler" to get it over £150 for the code to work. If you can live with the colour

Yes I saw that too. I'm so use to wireless though. You probably don't have to accept the filler. I'm pretty sure you can cancel it on collection and keep the £20 discount

Eek!
Nice deal and nice laptop, heat added.
Are these any good for basic games (I.e. Minecraft?)
But little boy has decided he wants a PC as well as his PS4/iPad and would be good if Minecraft PC could be used on it.
Thanks.
Would this be good enough for an 8 year old to play games like FRIV and Minecraft and watch YouTube videos. Thanks.
yes

How can people add heat to this crap? A 32gb HD is great for a tablet, but a windows laptop, it renders it useless, windows 10 takes over 10gb of this, and with only 2GB of memory, this thing will be slow as hell, not "speedy". Crap like this is flooding the market, don't fall for it.
Best bet would be to buy this and then convert it to a Chromebook. Still wouldn't be superfast but a much better experience then using Windows.

I do love these "experts" coming on to HUKD telling us stuff is useless when they've never used them in anger. I have a laptop with this exact spec, and have updated it with the more recent version of Windows 10. It's ideal for web browsing, especially for using sites when form filling is required and a keyboard or a password manager makes a real difference. It can also do email without issue, and I can use Word and Excel without problems - and twitter can be boosted by the use of tweetdeck.
The battery life is brilliant, and the size means its easy to use on your lap without any wires getting in the way. It runs silently too - which is something that cannot be said for many laptops, and the keyboard is easy to use without wasting space with a numeric keypad you don't need, thus ensuring the main keys are easy to find.
Sure, it may not be appropriate for those who want to play games all day, or who want to play "top trumps" with their laptop spec - but for many people it will be all they need, and for many others an ideal second PC that is portable etc.

You obviously haven't been asked to "repair" a handful of these things. You get told it's really slow, what can I say to them other than the fact that it's brand new, there's nothing actually on it, it's just a very poor spec.

While I agree with the ram part, the space isn't an issue for many with Google drive and cloud services anymore. I've used my chromebook for over 2years and not worried about space, that has the same capacity hdd, although an ssd

A Chromebook would use ChromeOS, which makes a much better use of RAM and storage than Windows. Now, if this was
a Chromebook with same specs and £20 cheaper I'd give it a go.
micro usb is out of stock ,you can add sandisk cruzer usb 2.0 8gb comes in three colours for £3 .
final total after discount will be £132.
