Nice machine,The thing that annoys me about laptops is the speed+hassle of having to navigate using a fingerpad compared to using a desktop - apart from buying a mouse and putting on a desk - which wouldnt make it much use for using in bed or couch, is there anything else that can be done?

3.36 kg is a bit heavy - you get what you pay for don't you.

yes you can just increase the speed there is a option in the control panel menu.

seems gd heat added

why so heavy for a 15'' screen?

i have a 17'' version thats about the same weight:?

Poor laptop, bad price - do not buy a laptop with 1gb on Vista home premium - it isnt worth it.

I'm on a 2gb RAM, Intel Dual Core Fujitsu Siemens li1718 thats 449.99 at Currys, then I had £30 off with a voucher from this website (but has not expired). I think they may have it cheap at comet too

can u find a laptop better for the same price?

i think this is decent

im also running vista home premium on 768 ram and it runs fine

Cold - Dell's Vorstro can be spec'd up with 2GB of RAM and a faster CPU and a year's warranty for £20 less. If you phone up and haggle, you'll be able to get the Dell system for around £100 less if you're lucky.

i need a new laptop for my friend is this not good

But you won't be able to walk into a store and pick one up tomorrow, and the delivery times aren't great at the moment!

I've been waiting for my Vostro for weeks now!

you can get it cheaper if you have a virgin credit card.

if so, go to the virgin credit card members' shop and buy £400 worth of comet vouchers at 13% off face value (£348). wait for vouchers to arrive in post and then purchase the laptop.
