Good spec for the £'s, Voted Hot

Is this about the best laptop deal around these days?

If you can't get all the deals you can pick it up for £399.97 including P&P from SimplyAcer:

I know about this, but this does not have the Blue Ray Combo drive and therefore, perhaps my original post is a better deal.

I agree, the same laptop on simplyAcer is £494. Looks like a decent laptop to me, not sure about the processor though, I have an AMD TurionX2 on my work laptop running Windows XP & it handles day to day stuff fine but does slow down a bit when running multiple applications (music, illustrator, lotus notes, Word, Excel).....maybe it would on a Core2Duo?

Thanks for your posts guys. Surprised it did not pick up heat on the way. Well, as usual, that is the way HUKD sometimes works. Anyway, I am happy with this deal & have ordered one. The maths works out like this:
CDiscount Cost: £449.99
New Account Discount: £13.99
Cost including P & P: £439.99
Other Possible Discounts: [Quidco - 6.5% = £28.60, Cdiscount Account Credit - 20% = £88.00]. This totals to £116.60.
The cost of the Laptop now works out effectively to £439.99 - £116.60 = £323.39
Do you not think that this is an excellent deal for the specifications?
Regards,
Saabu.

The 20% is credited to your CDiscount Account. This can be used for further purchases with CDiscount. It is legit as far as I know.
