Looks good ....or should I wait for Sandybridge.....

I think if it was £300 it would be hot, at £400 it doesn't make me want to buy it, although quite nice spec.

A £300 i5 or equivalent? Think you'll be waiting for 6 months on that one...

Whats the difference between this X4 2GHz processor and P6100 2GHz processor? I know the CPU benchmark differs by about 1000... Is the quad core 4 x 2GHz?

Yup. The P6100 is a dual core.

This stands up well against the fastest i3s and low-mid-speed i5s on tasks using all cores - doesn't do so well at all for single core tasks especially compared to i5's as it doesn't have the turbo boost; but still a very capable processor and good value at this price judging from the performance charts.
