Just had this from Cdiscount its being couried back now due to the fact after 16 days of having it, i was sat using it and the innerscreen exploded on me!!

I tried ACER laptops before had nothing but faults with them so wont be getting one again!

Although good price for this.

Wow...are you okay? Wouldn't want mercury exploding in your face.
As for the usual Acer bashing, I've got one that's been running since 3 yrs now, no faults really apart from the bloatware that's included but that's easily resolved.

I have also had two Acer laptops both are fine the only part of them I think is cheap is the power supply's they use. The first one I have actually went bang my current one of my 5720 was making hissing sounds whilst plugged into the laptop have since had it replaced under warranty.

We use Dell laptops at work and hardly ever have any problems with them (supply supply's) so yer over all Acer's are great just have doggy power supply adaptors in my opinion.

I have this laptop at home and can say so far its great. Very quick and so far (touch wood) has been completely reliable. The acer software installed is good but can slow system down, but all in all a great laptop for a very good price. Can't go far wrong IMO

Poor brand, poor graphics and quite a poor cpu.

That's a very cheap laptop!

You can criticise the processor, graphics, etc. but it's clearly a very good deal for a basic laptop for surfing n stuff. If you need a fast processor or better graphics for gaming this isn't for you, but it's a great deal for those of us it is suitable for.

Back up what you're saying. Poor to who?

These Acer laptops are usually good value for money. I had one for 3 years intel 1.6ghz single core and are using to type this message.

This deal has expired, it's showing at £410 now.
