You're brave posting a laptop deal that's £500 without an SSD.

Just because it hasn't got an SSD doesn't mean it's unusable. By the looks of it, this laptop is an 'everyday' sort of laptop and is made for the majority of people as most people would prefer a 1tb hard drive over a 128gb SSD because at this price, the biggest SSD you'd find would be either 128gb or 256gb. Of course, an SSD would be nice at this price, but you're also getting a full hd display and the latest quad core i5

I never complained about the laptop, I was merely saying OP was brave for posting a laptop deal without an SSD because sooner or later the comments will come.

If its for uni I would rather wait a minute for it to boot rather than only have say 256GB of hard drive space. Thats my opinion though.
I know its not totally comparable but you can get a Dell with the i5 8250u, a 256gb SSD and even the dedicated AMD 530 4gb for under £400 at the Oultet, certified refurbed

Might be an alternative to this for those wanting a better spec with the same cpu

That would do nicely, I’ve been keeping an eye on Dell outlet and not seen this?
Seems a great deal, can anybody tell me if this is good enough to watch and edit hd gopro videos??

I'd have to disagree, as it's not just the boot times that are so much faster. I'd rather have 120GB of SSD and copy things to a USB stick rather than having a 1TB storage drive. Luckily SSD's are dirt cheap once again so a relatively cheap upgrade and the rest of the specs look ok

There are some there now, some without ssd's or the 530 but cheaper.

Remember to use any discount codes and ask on chat if you can't find any

Most days you'll get 8250's for under 400

There is one there now with the 530 and a ssd for under £400

How much would you need to spend at the Dell laptop outlet for a laptop that you could play games on here is my sons spec of his old laptop 33776512-uvBlX.jpgHe says a lot of the games stutter on it and one I purchased off steam called Black desert online won't play at all.
