Looks like a good deal! just bare in mind that reviews are saying the screen is a downside to this laptop, aparently it is dim and not very colour accurate.

People keep posting this but it's out of stock everywhere. Any idea when it will be released? I want to pull the trigger on it but don't want to freeze £650 for the an unknown period of time

It actually was in stock with AO last week and people confirmed they were able to order, so looks like it sold out pretty quick! I would keep checking their site and wait for it to go back up. You can also order it direct from HP website but its currently £699 so I would hold out for the AO stock

I prefer Amazon as I can use my fiance's employee discount so it would cost me £590 instead. Never seen it in stock on Amazon though :/ I have alerts set up, we shall see

Possible 4.95% cashback from Quidco when buying from the HP store, so that brings it down by about £35.

I signed up for email notifications from them when it's in stock, but they didn't send anything out. Must have sold out fast!

I want a low end gaming laptop with a Ryzen 4000 CPU (sub £650), but no one seems capable of making one that runs cool...

Legion 5 AMD Ryzen 5 4000 series may be a good choice and Lenovo sale comes more often than others so may be wait now and buy when the opportunity comes. Unless you are a student and can buy one cheaper now with discounts

You can ask your friends/siblings who are within that age range to sign up and you can use their account to order. That's what I did when I ordered a Lenovo Ryzen 7 4000 series laptop

Did you have to wait for 6 weeks for delivery?

Thinking of going for this £594.99 after the student discount
uk-store.acer.com/ace…ack

Worth it?
Thanks

I'm actually still waiting for it. I dont mind waiting though as the specs is mind blowing for the price. The laptop flew off the shelves pretty quickly.

As long as the dim screen of the Aspire doesn't put you off, then that's fine! I personally prefer the HP Pavilion one than this though.

Yes, even on the CPU alone the new HP Pavilion is already using the new Ryzen 5 4600H. The Aspire on the other hand still has the 3000 series. For the screen, some people say the Aspire's is dim.

I'd go for the HP even if it costs 50 more.

Edit: Someone in the comments said you get over 4% cashback from Quidco too so it would drop even more.
