Thanks
Looks very good. The screen has a little to much plex in it, the Ssd is sata speeds, and the screen brightness tops out as 250cd. The last point is why I am not jumping on this but compared to much of the competition like dell 7000, Lenovo y520 etc it's seems to be a better package.
I'd pay £80 more and get the i7 version box.co.uk/ZX5…tml

Why? 99% of people with that laptop are not going to notice a difference compared to this i5. It's certainly not going to be a limiting factor in games with the 1050.
Would this be good with Light Room and Adobe Premiere?
Looks like a good price - will this run fortnite smoothly? My nephew wants a gaming laptop but the 1060 ones are much more expensive. Thanks in advance.

You could run Fortnite on this. Might need to drop some of the texture settings to medium for 60fps due to 2gb vram.

I'm using the 1050ti version and I run fortnite at 1080p full HD high setting 60 fps. So a bit of drop should help with fps for these one
Will run fortnite easily. My desktop 1050 runs it at 60 at high settings, including textures.

2GB is more than enough for high texture settings at 1080p, but for the "epic" settings, you need at least 4GB that a 1050ti would provide.

Also, who cares if its SATA speed SSD? I can't believe there are people out there who still saliva over the extra 5 seconds boot up speed that a NVME drive gives.

500MB/s read is more than enough if you don't spend all day turning your PC on and off screaming "looooook maaaaa ye cannae even see eh windaes logo it soooo quaek!!!11!".
How would this do with planet coaster.
Anyone own this laptop? I would like to here your views on the screen and how hot it gets. That's the only negatives I see in reviews. Looks good for the money.
