Looks a pretty good deal to me, first time post so feel free to generally abuse me.

Reviews say - processer is a bit lame compared to the cheaper Intel based 7535Z but with a decent dedicated graphics card sporting a lot of memory, and a massive hard drive this isnt a bad desktop replacement.

Use Super Saver delivery for the price of £499.98. No vouchers I can find at present.

Nearest online price is £540 with some unnamed company. PC World are at £550 and WONT price match, coz I already asked!

Thats a very good spec for the money, voted hot

Nice spot, looks good value. What would put me off is the experience my family has had with Acer laptops - breaking down within a year (of light use), repaired, and then Acer refusing to repair again when the laptop got the same fault within a few weeks of the repair and being just out of warranty.

Have had many Acer products including my current Laptop, never had a problem. Seems a decent spec for the price.

Processor is more than a bit lame. I like AMD products, and I wouldn't have a Turion again.

And yes, we've had issues with Acers and overheating. That said, the laptop itself seems fair enough for the money.

altho intel cpu are better for laptops this is one of amd top cpus, the 4570 is not blisteringly fast at games but its better than ati 3200 AND NVIDIA 9400 etc. i think ati 4570 is more of a mid range laptop graphics more info here notebookcheck.net/AMD…tml. 500gb hard drive and 4gb ram is what you expect at this price. ok for low-mid range gaming and a nice entertainment set up.
