i just ordered one

cant wait for watching films on it.
18.4" full hd with blu ray. although i still got a ps3.

its also good for playing games like cod4 on high settings as the 9600m gt is a decent graphics card for laptops.

plus its £250 cheaper then anywhere else, its shipped for next day del, and its a new model

Lovely Laptop but weighs over 4kg

Original Poster

but its 18.4" so its not meant for a lot of moving.
anything 15"+ is too big to move.

this is for stuff like connecting it to your tv, or a desktop replacement to save space.

18.4" is too big to carry around anyway

Well over my budget but if I had the money I'd go for this. Thanks for posting this. Heat added.

big laptop but great deal. thanks for posting. Very tempting.

I wonder if the 18" laptops will be unpopular as they are too big to really take anywhere whereas the 16" laptops are still heavy but are mobile at a pinch

Lovely spec. I find this interesting though, "True 5.1 surround sound through six speakers", they would all be in front of you though lol. Voted hot.

well, the price is gone up now to £950, lucky that i got it when it was £730

owais did you receive it then ???

is it good ?

Original Poster

yep, i got it.

its the best laptop i had.
it looks good although no metals like aliminium. but it still looks very nice.

its really fast, i ran cod4 1400x900 max, and a few other games.
also my main reason to get it was for it being a desktop replacement an good for movies.
its 18.4" 1920x1080 full HD and 16:9 screen. so its a really good scren for watching movies as they are full screen with no blacks at the top or bottom. and its good as a desktop replacement aswell because of the screen size and specs.

i also like the 9600m gt for games, and the 4gb ddr3 ram makes it quick. and 320gb is enough to store all te films i keep on my pc.
