SAY NO TO 1366x768 on laptops

Why do you care? I've voted hot but wouldn't by a laptop without ssd. The point is - is it a deal? Because laptops are stupid prices, it is a deal. Whether you would buy it is irrelevant.

but some people only vote hot if it's something they'd buy rather than consider it something that's a good price. I won't ever buy a Dacia car or a love honey latex body suit but that won't stop me voting hot

I care because I want manufacturers to stop shifting crappy 1366x768 pixelated to hell screens in to laptops to shift old stock. Most basic users don't know what they are missing out on until they are shown the difference and then they can truly appreciate the benefits of Full HD on a 14"-16" screen size.
It wouldn't actually make a huge difference in cost of manufacture either as you can easily pickup replacement 1920x1080 screens on eBay for £30-£40 when replacing damaged/cracked screens.
So the cost to manufacturer will actually be a lot less than that.

It's time to take a stand and SAY NO TO 1366x768 on laptops, at any cost.

An SSD is lovely and keyboard/touchpad need to be good enough but it's ultimately the screen you will look at for the rest of the laptops life.

Once you've sat a user in front of a Full HD screen they'll truly appreciate exactly why a 1366x768 screen is so poor in comparison.

I don't even accept less than 1920x1080 on my smartphone nowadays, let alone a laptop

Wouldn’t be bothered about this resolution on a 14” screen. SSD would be more important, re speed and reliability.

Of all the things in this world to campaign against you've decided to make a stand against computer manufacturers selling sub full-HD laptop screens at knock down prices
