Hot ...but reviews on qvcuk website '(I googled the laptop) are quite scary.

Same price as the ES1-111M But the 512 is a better buy. Make sure to remove the bloat-wear though.

How strange ,was looking at this after 2 days of trolling through reviews of different laptops, nearly bought this today for £229.added some vouchers, bought for £100,cheers OP saved me a few quid, heated

Yeah gift vouchers that I found

Not sure why comparing a 11" laptop with a 15" laptop - massive difference? I would not want to travel with the 15

Hmmm this or the Dell deal just posted?!

Hi. Does anyone knows if this model allow easy change of hard drive?

Same here. I think Dell is a better option, a tenner cheaper, bit bigger battery, weights less then Acer, CPU allmost same, don`t know about the screen.

Thanks for that...

Which Dell deal? I can't see it.

personally would go for dell over this, better build quality and save yourself a tenner, warranty will almost certainly be better with this - just take back to the shop

Bought this last time it was on offer and was given a Quad Core N2920 rather than the Dual Core N2840 stated. Comes with the N2840 plastered everywhere, but Windows reads it as the N2920. Not a bad laptop for the money. Heat!

I'd plump for the Acer as it has USB 3.0, Wired Ethernet and Bluetooth. All of these are missing on the Dell.

This is replacing my Dell- turns off by its own accord which is fab when I'm in the middle of essays! NOT!

Ugh bought this for 229 last week

had a **** ton of bloatware

Bought Thanks x

For info, if you're just buying the laptop, John Lewis will price match and you get a two year warranty. I was going to do that but then noticed, if you also add Office 365 Home, its just over £70 (cheaper than most or all other places) and you get an extra £20 off. Just ordered from Tesco. Thanks OP!

The ability to pick it up from a store makes this one a better buy than the Dell for me (I pass a big Tesco on the way home from work)

The chat has certainly died down on this laptop, but the dell thread is going strong.
I am still undecided

give them a call and they'll refund the difference within 28 days

Price is back to £229

This link now takes you to the laptop at tescos and is £229 not £179

Baytrail Celeron are Atom's in disguise. Stick to the older IB or Haswell Celerons if you can.
