Hi! Bought this laptop for myself the other day and noticed a similar deal doing rather well and as this seemed to stack up rather well against it, I thought it deserved a post of it's own. Especially as this includes a rather beefy graphics card. Edit this post as you see fit as I'm not particularly well versed at all this.

Seems good. Would this be any good for a bit of light gaming like Sims 3 and Civ 5?

I'd expect so. It's not a high-end card but it will pretty much run any game on medium settings and most games on high or ultra if you take off the Anti-Aliasing settings. From video's I've seen with this set up you can run Battlefield 3 without AA on ultra at around 30FPS, not the 80FPS people seem to love, but pretty impressive for a fairly low cost system.

Played Skyrim on High at around 50-60 FPS
Looks like a very good deal! (Still £1000 in eBuyer)
