Great find, was this price for Black Friday... You can Flubit this and it's 11% Quidco on Flubit demands...

Anyone know if this has a backlit keyboard?
Cannot find any mention on EBuyer site.

Link to previous thread in case people want to check discussions on specs etc

One of the reviews on the site does mention a backlit keyboard but I would chat with ebuyer to confirm.

Very good specs for the price.

As per ebuyer specs further down on the page: Input
Type Keyboard, touchpad
Backlight Yes

Has anyone ever used the financing with ebuyer (paypal/pay4later)? Which would you recommend?

11% for the next 1/2 hour, then who knows...

flubit giving me £7.92 off ....whooohooo.

does Ebuyer accept paypal?

Flubit was giving me £12.18 off but for what ever reason my bank declined the transaction. They were happy to pay £1.50 for me to become and elite member! Sighhhhhhh.

Flubit is now 1.1% via Quidco! More sighhhhh.

no option for paypal when selecting collect+

the reviews I've read also suggest backlit keyboard

I've gone for the one from Very with the slightly older processor and 128gb SSD.

if I get the £100 credit on top of the 10% then it'll work out sub £500

Buying this as a present, can someone tell me what would be a good controller to pair with this please?

I bought one for the misses during the Black Friday deal - can confirm it has a backlit keyboard.

Would probably bite but I need portability and performance, 2.5kg seems just a tad heavy. Nonetheless the price is really good for the specs, heat.

Sounds like a good spec. Can anyone recommend something similar but with a better display (e.g. IPS)?

ive got that laptop, its really good feels solid and games work great on it! enjoy!!!

Just took the plunge on this. Too good to pass up

bought this a week ago.. it's a good laptop.. but the downside on this is the screen.. the viewing angle is horrible..

How good will this be for gaming?
Edited by: "TRAMP_K1LL3R" 12th Dec 2016

Would this be good for video/photo editing (premiere pro, photoshop) and some light gaming? Mainly just want to play NBA2K17 and Shenmue 3 when it comes out.

Got this laptop from Very, it has backlit keyboard and was advertised as i5 6200U and 8GB DDR4 (2x 4GB) but came with i5 7200U and 1x 8GB DDR4. The 4GB GDDR5 950M performs very well, I played Fallout 4 on medium and high settings and it was smooth and entirely playable. Don't get the hate for the screen, who uses a laptop other than right in front of you. Screen is bright and colourful. Word of warning though, mine has been shutting down completely, powering off. Discovered a lot of the cpu drivers were for the i5 6200U, so updated the drivers and the entries changed to 7th Gen Intel so i'm hoping that was causing the issue and its now corrected. Impressed with this laptop so far.

Just a wee update, since updating all drivers in 'device manager' I have had no shut downs.

Gone for this for the wife for Christmas. Pleased with the specs for the price, will just chuck another 8gb of ram in
Thanks OP

This is now back up to £699
