I first saw this deal here at hotukdeals.com/ite…op-? but it seems that it is available online as well.

However, I am unsure of the specs of the machine as a simple google has not brought up any 532H with 160GB and Windows XP so most probably it is some sort of Sainsbury specific model or something. On the Sainsbury's site it mentions that it does not come with webcam nor card reader which I find weird things to cripple as they don't cost much. Probably it's just some sort of typo or something. There is also no mention of the battery rating so I am not sure if it's a 3-cell or a 6-cell.

Has anyone already bought it or could someone pop into Sainsbury's and if they see the deal photograph the specifications on the side of the box or something?

Seems like a fairly standard price for this model. PC World had it for £229 from launch, ages ago.

Really? I can't find it on PC World right now. The standard price on Play.com and Amazon.co.uk are like £299.99 and £ 289.99 respectively.

As you mention, it is difficult to be sure of the spec for this model. There are many similarly named models. I have found info on a couple of similar model numbers:

amazon.co.uk/Ace…D82

Shame Sainsbury's don't give full or accurate specification as I think this may be a very good buy.

I'm not sure there is too much difference between this one and the one you're listing, and it's only £199...

That model (531) is using the old Intel Atom N270 whereas the 532H uses the newer more power efficient N450. In terms of performance there is not much difference but the more efficient N450 and chipset architecture can increase battery life from 6 hours on the N270 to 8 hours or more on a 6-cell.
Not much but at least it's something.
