Topcashback also doing 10% cashback who in my opinion are better and quicker at paying out.

Got the six cell version running Windows XP last year. Added an extra GB of memory, installed MS Office 10 and it makes for a highly portable supplement to my main office PC. I wouldn't want to be without it.

Where does it say its dual core on the best buy website? Good price for it though if it is the n550 processor

It doesn't, and there are several models of the D255, so I am not sure it can be assumed.

Of course even the dual core is still very slow compared to even a budget state of the art CPU...

Quote "it comes with a 3-cell 4400mAh battery"

Lies! a 3 cell battery will be 2200mah a 6 cell will be 4400mah

the cells in question are 18650 li-ion and have a capacity of 2200mah, the 6 cell packs are a 3 cell in parrallel with another 3 cell doubling the capacity. Do I get a lolipop?

GEEK!

Got excited for a minute then realised it is a netbook not a notebook as stated in the title by op.

Just to make clear: this **isn't** the dual core version that most other places have floating around for about £80 more. I saw this yesterday and got rather excited, but wasn't too impressed when I found out there were two different versions. This version is a lot lower spec'ed, and isn't really too great.

The Samsung N150 Plus for £229 at eBuyer seems to be the best value netbook at the moment (which itself isn't too great a deal). hotukdeals.com/dea…470
