Was £299.

Same price at PC World but Quidco currently has 10% on Windows laptops at Currys, although this has not tracked for me.

I think this model may be exclusive to Currys / PC World.

Why is this cold?

This is £100 less than a Surface 3 with a slightly slower processor but includes a keyboard and stylus. Yet the Surface 3 is hot.
A slower processor. It only scores 1207 on benchmark compared with 1951 for the base model surface

It's more money than I paid a few weeks ago for the t300 chi by Asus. It only has 64gb of space and 2gb ram. Spec is lower with a similar so cold from me.

Thank for the reply Smartguy1. I appreciate the feedback.

I think the processor drop is acceptable for the price band.

I think the t300 comparison is unfair as the cheapest price I can find is £370. You were very lucky to get the Very deal. I doubt it will come up again any time soon.

Can anyone post a tablet at a better price which is currently available?

I changed my earlier post as it was a bit harsh. I think it is quite rare that Currys have anything decent deal wise at this sort of price. I did see Acer 11.6" switch on Microsoft's site last year for £199.99. It was only the 32gb version and can't understand why manufacturers seem to charge a fortune for extra space when memory is cheap. 32gb is not much use on a windows laptop of half of it is taken up by the OS.

With reference to the t300 deals come up like this every now and then. They are not one-offs although looks like that could have been the case with the t300. Nothing else comes close at the minute but it will if you keep looking. I check on hotdeals every day when I get home. I wasn't actually looking to buy something like the Asus but when it came up it was too good to miss. I bought the Lenovo Miix 3 last year at £149.99. That is a similar spec to the Acer you posted with 32gb eMMC. In comparison with that, my opinion is the Acer is over priced by about £50.00 or so at this screen size. As with all items there is always something better for more money but for me rather than spend £249.99 on the item posted I would have preferred the Lenovo Yoga 700 recently advertised but it was another £90.00 but stunning spec. Saying that if I had £339.99 to buy the Yoga 700 I would have wanted to put that against ??????? there would be something else, there always is. Look out for Lenovo's next miix model.
Have you seen this posted today. If you're looking for a decent 10.1" this is a good deal.

Thanks Smartguy, that is a good deal. Wish had been more patient.
No worries. I always say if you are happy with what you have bought then that's good enough for me. I will be honest I would have maybe bought this t100 if I hadn't got the t300. My problem is I can never quite justify paying for what I really want which about this time last year was the Surface Pro so I bought a miix 3 at £149.99. It's ok and good value for the money but not exactly what I wanted. I bought a 10" android tab in January and then the t300 at the end of April. I might as well just bought the Surface Pro lol as I spent about £475.00 now. I should get about £80.00 for the miix 3 and we all use the android tab including my little granddaughter so that has been useful but nobody gets their hands on my t300. It was a shame the Miix 3 was only 32gb as I just ran out of storage for programmes.
From what I can make out, the standout thing that this Acer has going for it, is that it supports (and comes with) an active stylus.

The rest of the specs are pretty run of the mill, but it's rare to find an active stylus in this price range... Having said that, I've never used it, so I can't speak for the quality/accuracy.
