The extreme performance enhances digital video, games and all-round fun at home or on the road.

The Timeline X 5830T delivers an extraordinary blend of extremes with up to 9-hour battery life and ultra-thin and light mobility, without compromising on its powerful performance. You can be completely mobile all day and still enjoy high-definition graphics and plenty of processing power for extreme multitasking.

Extreme convenience

A one-inch profile and the Cobalt Blue aluminium cover make this notebook ultra-slim, strikingly beautiful and very durable. The chiclet keyboard has nice key spacing for accurate typing, while easy-to-use hotkeys and a multi-gesture touchpad enable superior control. Plus, you can recharge devices like a cell phone or portable media player even if your notebook is turned off, thanks to the innovative USB power-off charging feature.

As is the mode these days, the keyboard is a chiclet job, and feels beautifully solid and nicely spaced. - RegHardware.com

Friend has the older model - easily gets about 7 hours when web-browsing and the like so battery is not a lie for this model! Folk might complain this is sandy and not ivy but its not bad - heat from me.
Why do they put the touchpad so far to the left?

Why do they put the touchpad so far to the left?

It's a left-handed laptopX)lol
Looks good to me, and great battery life. Is it possible to get anything similar close to this price???

Why do they put the touchpad so far to the left?

Because they put extra number keys on the right, they had to put the mouse on the centre of the keyboard. I found it quite annoying and looking for a laptop that doesn't have those numbers on the right.
