Pah, I could buy 899 items at the pound shop or 908 items at the 99p store but neither has any real relevence to this deal

Anyhoo, I'm not sure whether a touchscreen at this size is actually much use, I'd get wrist ache drawing on the screen for more than a few mins at a time, but maybe someone would want that feature? or maybe someone with poor eyesight could use as a mega tablet on their lap?

All in ones have the problem of not being upgradeable. If space is an issue, then fine, but a quick look gets you:

i7, 16gb, 2TB desktop
£480
ebay.co.uk/itm…895
full HD Touchscreen monitor
£168
amazon.co.uk/gp/…1-1

£648 + £20 for new keyboard and mouse = £668

Leaves £230 for a graphics card if you want to upgrade from built in one.

I've had a touch screen 22" AIO for 4 or 5 yes now started on Win7.
win8.1 was the best setup for it hands down and I don't think Win10 would help much, (been using that for a few month as TP). it's lost it useful touch and start screen horizontal flow, vertical in win10 just doesn't sit well.
anyway, the touch is useful, you still have a keyboard and mouse but it just make usability that little bit nicer and you end it wanting to prod your TV, laptops, work computers. it's hard to explain to people that haven't used it for a while, its not really to draw with or type with but to flick and tap and quick text entry. great for maps and things to.

but ours also has a TV in it and WMC work really well with a touch screen, hope MS bring out a TV app, a real TV app not a streaming buy some TV as they call it for so 10.

oddly its the TV feature that makes an AIO as you just pop it there as a TV with a nice remote and then use it as a computer.

odd and hard to describe. I have desktops as well, but the AIO is the most used of all of the computer even though it's also my least powerful one.
you can often upgrade parts of it, they tend to have miniPCIe slots in them, ram and drives are easy and just range any HDMI/USB device you need to. graphics is the only one you probably cannot unless it's using on cpu.

BUT that is not what these are designed for.

Is it the processor you are after?

A few at John Lewis with less powerful processors, but good bit cheaper and 2 yr warranty as standard:
