Been looking for a decent spec laptop for a while. I know this is a 6th gen CPU, but it doesnt really matter if the price/performance is good? It ticks all the boxes i was looking for - decent build (no garish gaudy 'gaming' laptops), not too chunky or heavy, speedy, ok to play games at medium settings, at least 8GB DDR4 RAM, backlit keyboard, & Full HD screen. Let me know what you think. Think I will get it on Monday unless I see anything better

This is a better deal imo: … This is a better deal imo: https://www.saveonlaptops.co.uk/9S7-16J562-1673-MSI-GL62-7QF-1673UK_2066567.html

Too chunky and heavy for me. i need it to be slimmer and lighter, definitely no more than 2.5kg
950m is pretty useless as well. A 1050 is a huge improvement and I've seen them around £700 on here before
950m will struggle to play games on medium settings these days to any degree of quality
Lol, my main game at the moment (and has been for a few years) is the original Counter Strike:Source. Dont think it needs much graphical oomph. I mainly need it to be as slim as possible, to be able to play older games at high settings and newer games at medium settings is fine with me :). Slimness, under £650, backlit keboard, long battery life 6hr+, Win10, fast RAM, big HDD and possibility of adding an SSD myself in DVDRW tray if no SSD comes with laptop. Not looking for max settings and max quality on new games. Plus I dont think gaming laptops look all that good, and are too bulky with poor battery, so no good for me. Cheers!
I cant find anything better at the £600 range myself, with the features I need too. If anyone can, please comment - ps the ROG laptops, MSI GL range - too big and bulky, not sure why anyone would want to carry those beasts around. Good if you want to be in one place, but no good for portability
Have you looked at the Dell outlet? 7567 on offer for round 600.
Yeah I was getting that 7567 refurb but dint realise vat needs adding. More like high 600s in the end

Its also at least 2.67kg, and over an inch in height. Not thin or light. Plus over £650.
Im guessing that graphics card+thin and light is not possible.
