Been looking for a new laptop for a while and I don't think this can be beaten for the price and specs.
Reviews look good and other retail outlets have it at the same price but with just 4Gb RAM.

The cost is £399 but if you take the buy now, pay later option then you get £50 cashback. Add 10% Quidco to that and it comes out at £314.10.
Not bad for an i5 processor and 8GB RAM - looks smart too!

Well I've ordered mine so will have to take your word for that one! (_;)

I've had Dell, HP and Samsung and have had a bad experience with all of them. It depends on the spec to a large degree.

In what sense? Build, performance, value?!?
Or perhaps you had a dud?

you should not include cashback in the final price. your deal looks like the cost minus cashback which isnt the case

the cost is £399, minus £50 from very which will appear in your account in 45 days time, minus whatever else you get!

In your opinion...

I got offered a £30 discount from Very, I wonder if I could use this in conjunction?

Cheers for updating - still a very good price at £399. Even better with cashback through Very + voucher code + Quidco.

Brilliant price & spec.

Assuming it's just a voucher code that you enter at check out then yes.

Very's £50 cashback is on any laptop over £350 taken on buy now, pay later. So you'd be looking at £369 - £50 cashback = £319.
With Quidco's 10% that'd be £287.10!

dont get me wrong, good spec at a good price if all the cashback does come through.

Cheers Dan, can you take the credit and then pay it off in one go so you don't incur any interest?

I believe it's 0% but as soon as the cashback comes through after 45 days then I'll be paying it off anyway.

quidco Cashback at very is not available if you use a voucher code, 10% is for new customers only.

any more discount codes to use in conjunction with this offer please?

wish i had seen this when i bought my freezer from them. as first time purchaser you get 10% off when you sign up - but you can put purchase on your credit card...

incidentally, i am using my acer aspire 1353 which i think was bought in 2006. we have an advantage in plymouth, since the acer service centre is in plympton on eagle road behind the jag dealer and audi dealership.

only comes with windows 8 home premium so cannot be put on a network, you need pro for that and microsoft want £189 for the upgrade because i checked yesterday.
