Isn't the "m" series chips supposed to be better than "u" series performance wise?
£369 (also can get Quidco 7% cashback)
I have an aspire 7720 running vista that had a similar problem with sound. Try the following
Return your speakers to the default settings. In Realtek HD Audio Manager, choose Speakers, Default Format tab, and click the button that looks like an eraser (Restore Defaults). Otherwise look for a loudness equalisation checkbox and/or limit output checkbox and ensure they aren't selected.
How this is done in Win8 I don't know but I'm sure you will work it out.
link? temped.
Its a "wonder of woolies" deal...that are apparently barred from HUKD......!!!
no idea about that...
Sorry, who?
Wo*lworths
So is the Lenovo a better option specs wise?
I connected to the internet, and this is what I found.....
Other than that they look like much of a muchness on the face of it, a slight difference in the USB ports, but an extra £20 too....
I *think* the Lenovo is the better deal but could well be wrong.
Quick draw McGem (_;)
Oooo Aiii McBuzz
Remember you can get 7% quidco CB on this too...... however, apparently Woolies not got a good reputation on here....??
Name just 3.
Red, Blue Or Purple.
That's not a reason it's a colour selection.
"The reason I bought this laptop was due to it's exciting range of colours, I had the choice of Red, Blue or Purple, To be quite honest with you had the the colours been White, Pink or Green I do not think I would not have bothered"
Now go away and stop wasting my time
Can I ask what are the criteria for a merchant to get banned / suspended (apart from self promo).....
Probably would cope with things like hearthstone or minecraft. But in reality with an intel HD graphics card, your gaming options will be limited to games which have very low system requirements.
Weakling
looks a good comparison but it's not apples for apples - your link is for a refurb this deal is for new?
Although both have the 12 month warranty which is generally good enough for me there are lots of people that won't consider refurbs
What graphics does the ASUS X550CA have?
You will struggle to find a "full" HD display laptop at this price range atm.
It's usually cheaper to just buy your own stick especially as an 8gb model may not be available.
For a 4th gen i5 its not bad at all imo and will be sufficient for your usage. However for your usage an i3 may be sufficient and can be around £100 cheaper which you might be interested in being a student. Low end gaming is definitely all you'll be able to manage without a graphics card.
Lenovo G510 referenced earlier any better for low end gaming or video editing with the "m" series CPU?
I found the same model on Amazon & asked them via online chat & after 20 minutes of searching, they were unable to tell me
