Thought this was a great price for a curved 1440p 31.5 inch monitor from Acer

Drawbacks are it's a TN panel and 75hz, but you really aren't going to get a 144hz IPS at this price

I found the flat screen IPS version for £204.99 at ebuyer if that appeals to you more:

Also available from Box.co.uk for £208.99

Tiptop spot @Organdonor lowest price it has ever been for the curved version since black friday sales! This is a great bit of tech and has a superb panel in it, no idea why it would not be hot at this price now!

No, as have UHD, but have physically seen and played around with 2 of them, in unison, running on a dual titan setup, simply stunning, they also have heat dispersion, due to the white layered poly casing materials used, so if screen on a lot, say gaming or trading, they do not pass out so much passive heat around the rear.

Noticed up against a 144Hz (cannot remember the make) that the curved panel in this, had much more contrast and looked smoother, that was on just a 1050ti single. Would not be surprised if this had the samsung Yn1800 style panel in it, as there are only the LG & Acer that have this T-con board on them (the connector port on the side) in 32" variants.

Make sure you are at least 50cm+ away on setup and you will get the full benefit of the colour range and pixel space, regardless of how it is driven and what gpu is behind it, if you can, use DP not D-Dvi for your main input.

If do not have UHD, would not be surprised, after setting up and calibrating, that your 1st screen becomes your second screen when you get this beauty!
Is this going cold because it's from Laptops Direct?
damn now I want to sell my 3 Samsung 27FG70 for 3 of these instead
The monitor looks good TBH but LaptopsDirect have stated 1080p and IPS in the product information but other areas mention 1440p, and TN panel

I believe the OP is correct in stating 1440p and TN but its just confusing

Not had any experience with them in the past but I selected free delivery option and got a notification from DPD telling me it will be with me tomorrow so they definitely shipped it off fast enough!

I just looked at your monitors specs, rather nice - I'm sure it's better than these but with an appropriately larger pricetag!

Yeah I think they have mixed up some specs from the flat screen IPS panel which I also put a link to ebuyer for in desription.

It's strange I can't find reviews on this monitor at-all

Is 2k looking good on that size of screen or better to be 4K?
I have ordered one for the new office space once work is finished, I had been looking for a large screen to replace my 29inch Ultrawide LG. I have a 1070 and I average 100fps on most games I play, so my thoughts are going from 1080Ultrawide @ 60hz to a 1440p @ 75hz should keep my fps at 75+ for the most part

I think it's definitely enough at this size and looks great, bitcoin5 was right and it's now my main monitor

I still have a cable management tray to attach under the worktop and some other bits but I'm enjoying the new setup!34337565-A4Iy4.jpg

Your link at the top from box.co.uk is for the flat IPS panel, not the curved TN by the way
Whichever you prefer

If you check the overview it says it’s curved, you can also check the model/part number, which I did as I thought the same as you at first, they are both UM.JE1EE.009. The IPS panel is only 60hz and the one in the link is 75hz.

I should get mine next week to confirm though

Mine is currently being hidden at work as I don’t want my other half to know I spanked a load of cash on a second screen. Enjoy
