32inch fhd G A M I N G monitor.
the only game i'd enjoy on this monitor would be counting individual pixels on the screen.
I know it may boil down to personal preferences but interested to hear people's views on whether it's better to buy a curved monitor or flat one? Am in the market for one and sitting on the fence...

I’ve got a 32” curved monitor and to be honest, you cant really tell the difference. It’s slightly better for immersion but it’s not a game changer. If they’re similar priced, i’d go for curved but i wouldn’t spend much more than a flat one.

I've just bought the 32" 4k samsung curved for £299 from amazon in their BF 20% reductions. The curve is subtle but at this size, sat close on a desk working, I'm telling myself that curved is better pointing the edges at me rather than being flat so angled away.

Re this offer, I will say that initially my laptop defaulted my new screen to 1080p/60hz and I couldn't wait to get the setting changed to 4k/30hz (I dont have the cables for 4k/60hz yet - arriving tomorrow... - but still loving it btw), 1080p at 32" up close is biiiiiig pixels! (for gaming, further away in a more relaxed position than hunched over a keyboard it might be fine, just warning based on what I've seen).

I have a flat AOC 32" QHD (1440P)

when working I'm slightly aware of its flatness because I'm scanning back and forth
when gaming it's a bit less noticeable
watching films it's preferable because I'll sit further back and I imagine a curved screen would be annoying

I think if I had a 27" I wouldn't notice
If I was buying a 32" just for FPS style gaming I'd get a curved screen if the price delta was ~£20-30

32" feels slightly too big for gaming, I'm a bit more aware of looking around at stuff, it's just nicer for films

this 1920x1080 Resolution though, I feel like people are moving to Ryzen3600/5700, so playing at 1080P is going to tail off maybe?
I really bought a 32" QHD just for turn based strategy games, 1080P is too low I feel. For 144Hz CoD maybe this is great
