not a bad price for a laptop not the best laptop going though
2GB RAM is too low in my opinion, and with the Celeron processor this will be slow.

For £50 more you can get the E5-521 which has 4GB RAM, a quad core processor and a slightly bigger screen: hotukdeals.com/dea…314

If your budget won't stretch to that for £125 you can get a refurbished i5 4GB with slightly smaller screen: hotukdeals.com/dea…370

For someone on a budget who wants a brand new laptop, I didn't think this was too bad. This laptop is listed at higher prices on other websites so it is a deal at the end of the day...
Stick Mint on it and it'll fly
I'm sure if you're patient a better spec laptop will come up for the money within a few days.

RAM and processor aren't very good and we have seen some good deals on better specs at similar prices recently.
This laptop get very slow after few month, don't know why but one this is got slow processor
All ports are on the back, and Acer quality is usually poor, battery will be dead after a year.

Can anyone find a laptop for the same price etc? Is this called hotukDEALS? Or hotukcomputerknowitalls?! Won't bother posting anything again on this website because this is all you get these days!!
Nobody's given you a hard time, just given their opinions.

Maybe it's the cheapest version of this model right now, but there have been in the last week or so, and most likely will be again, better value laptops about than this.

Would you rather people spent their money on this thinking it's a fantastic machine, or instead of waiting for a better deal that is likely to be around the corner?

No, it is bad. Ridiculous specs for toady and for the money. For £200, you can get a laptop more than twice good.

this week, brand new i3 was for £150 from Tesco Direct.

As right now, you can buy A6 6310, 4TB RAM and 1TB hard drive laptop for £200. The AMD is ok for normal use, it is more than twice good than your Celeron, your Celeron is seriously underpowered. RAM and hard drive are twice big. Running a normal Windows on 2GB RAM is really bad choice. Your system will take a lot of it, your on-board graphic card will share some, you only got a very little left to use. Open a few webpages will use them all up. You do need 4GB RAM minimum to run smoothly.

This laptop is not worth £150. The specs will be slow even for general use. Please do not buy.

Increase you budget to £200, you can get much better ones most of time.

Seriously, Tesco direct is doing laptop sales this week. There are so many better deals.

the cheapest price for the exact model does not mean it is a good deal.

There are so many choices of laptops. Who said anyone has to buy the exact model? Who said the comparson has to be based on your price mark £150?

You made your own rules. No one is bound by your rules.

I am sure a lot people would be able to stretch budget from £150 to £200 for a better laptop which is more suitable for general use, rather than waste £150 on a laptop which is just not sufficient most of time.

If you only got £150 spare, then consider a refurbished or used with decent specs.
