New (Not refurb) Acer Extensa laptop w. 1GB RAM and 160GB hardrive. Cheapest laptop I can find which comes with Vista Business (Basically Home premium with some bells and whistles) and an upgrade to Win 7 pro. The upgrade alone is worth buying this for as its not the standard version of Win 7. If you want to buy this seperately it'll cost over £150 in PC world

Nice find. Anyone bought from this company? Are the reputable? etc.

thanks.... for below note.

Well known company, been around for a long time. Many members will be able to vouch for them.

exact same laptop here £275 hotukdeals.com/ite…2-/ except mine went cold because of oyyy!

You have to add at least 1gb ram (better 2gb), which brings the price up to about £300. This is too much for any Celeron laptop, even for the better Compaq, which you can get for the same price with 3gb ram.

Thanks for posting. I have added an image to your post.
This is a link, made by rayman, which explains how to add images in great detail. It’s worth taking a look at if you are going to post more deals in future : - hotukdeals.com/ite…hr/

Not true.

Vista Business does have some things Vista Home Premium has not got (ability to join a domain for example) although little for the home user.

But there are things Vista Home Premium has got that Business HAS NOT GOT.

The media centre for example, plus games, plus Windows DVD maker, plus Windows Movie maker.

Normally I would suggest a home user never buys the Business version of Vista.

See here

Although it does not apply in this case, another consideration is that if you want to upgrade to Windows 7 then Vista Business can only upgrade to Windows 7 Professional or Ultimate which are both more expensive than Windows 7 Home Premium.

But if you are on Vista Home Premium you can always upgrade to Windows 7 Home Premium which is cheaper.
