Good little ultraportable, far, far more useful than a tablet. I have an old 12" Packard Bell, which I've used for over 3 years now, so much so that I don't even bother turning my desktop anymore, so I though I'd get a 10" tablet to replace it but man they're useless. This is very tempting but It is has been sold by Tesco for £199 before and this is refurbished, still hot though, as it far better than a netbook and far better than a tablet.

agreed i have one, its brilliant and very fast for a netbook. think only the dell alienware 11 is quicker and with the optional hard to find external extra graphics card no netbook will touch it, think it can run crysis on fairly high settings with the external extra gpu

its very slim for a netbook, not much thicker than an hp touchpad or ipad 1, yet keyboard is 95% that of a normal lappy keyboard

more useful than a tablet, have loads of tablets. though to be honest you cant compare laptops/netbooks to tablets as they are different things
laptop/netbook - office workhouse/serious gaming machine/full movie player
tablet- lounge browse/casual gaming machine/basic movie player

paid £165 for mine new from Tesco about 9 months ago

I have an Acer Timeline 1810tz which is the same body as this machine but slightly different specs, I have to say if you guys add an SDD to this thing, it improves vastly speed and battery life, mines is now ultra fast, and battery lasts around 6-7 hours on full use.

With the normal HDD, it was slow and battery around 4-5 hours.

A defo upgrade

for most people, a tablet isnt a replacement for a laptop more of a compliment to it. checking emails and surfing net are the main features of a tablet as well quick to power on and usually can stay on standby power for longer

having said that because of the way i use a desktop/laptop i use short keys alot so i can work a heck of alot quicker on a laptop/desktop than i can on a tablet. tablets dont do what i call proper multitasking - linked to my desktop i have 2 monitors as well so getting this done takes milliseconds - with tablets you have to part close down a screen then open another screen with out being able to quickly flick between the two eg try copying text from one document to a 2nd document or website to website on a tablet - what a pain

same as for most people a laptop isnt a replcement to a desktop

people who say tablets are better than laptops/desktops are non techies who dont know how to use a computer properly - not their fault of course, just lack of experience
